Todays photo of the day comes from the wild West coast of Auckland - Muriwai.

The large Gannet birds have called this place home for longer than I can remember, and each season they come here to nest, hatch, and then fly off again..

This particular day I caught a large male on final approach to his nest looking very focused indeed!
